Compare Plan 2–5 side by side
Every plan is MOM-compliant. The difference that matters most: your Hospital & Surgical coverage per year.
A single hospital stay can exceed S$15,000. First Dollar coverage means the insurer pays from the very first cent — no employer co-payment up to the cap. Higher plans remove co-payment altogether.

Answers to common questions
Do I need to send my MDW for a medical examination before renewal?
Yes. Employers must bring their Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) for the mandatory 6-monthly medical examination before requesting a work permit renewal. MOM requires a valid medical report to process the renewal. Please schedule the examination early to avoid delays.
Do I still need to go to MOM in person?
No. After payment we submit the renewal request online. MOM will email you to authorise via Singpass — it takes under two minutes.
What happens after I pay?
We will inform MOM on your renewal request on the next working day. You then await MOM's email to authorise the renewal via Singpass.
What if my helper ends employment before the permit renews?
Report early termination from your dashboard. We will flag the case and our admin will process any refund manually once MOM issues the discharge-of-liability letter.
Can I renew for multiple helpers?
Yes. Every helper lives under your single account with its own 90-day expiry reminder and renewal history.
Which insurer underwrites the policies?
All policies are underwritten by Great Eastern and issued as Vintage Maid Insurance. We send you the policy PDF by email once issued.
What is the difference between the insurance plans?
All plans meet MOM's minimum coverage. The main differences are Hospital & Surgical expenses per year (S$60K for Plan 2/3/4 vs S$100K for Plan 5), whether there is employer co-payment, and higher liability limits on Plans 4 and 5.
Should I buy Bond Protector?
Bond Protector covers the S$5,000 security bond MOM requires, protecting you from breaches not caused by your actions — e.g. the helper absconds. It is optional and adds a small flat fee to the premium.
What is the difference between 14-month and 26-month policies?
Choose 26 months to align with a typical renewal cycle and avoid mid-term top-ups. The 14-month option is useful if your helper is on a shorter contract or closer to returning home.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayNow, and GrabPay via Stripe.
Can I get a maid insurance refund?
Refunds are handled manually per case. Common scenarios include MOM rejecting the renewal or helper early termination. Contact us on WhatsApp and our admin will process it.
